Until one is committed, there is a hesitancy, the chance to draw back . . . Whatever you do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now.

W.H. Murray

I have always loved to travel and experience the world in new ways. This became more meaningful when I set an intention to explore my faith as I traveled. I discovered glimpses of the realm of God walking the labyrinth in Chartres Cathedral and while rambling on the north shore of the Isle of Iona. But I also encountered God’s presence while visiting my father’s graveside and while driving through Glacier National Park. I found myself committed not only to the pilgrimage we call life, but to intentional pilgrimages where I could explore my longing and prepare to be present to God.

This blog in an effort to share my pilgrimage journeys to sacred places. It is an invitation to share this with me as you discover your own longing and make your own preparations for pilgrimage. It calls us to an awareness of God’s presence all along the way. It is a blessing to share what we discover of faith, hope and love together.

So, come with me for the journey is long and we need one another as pilgrims along the way.

Blessings, Susan
